Mission |
The aims of this study are to determine how pollen and fungal allergens form respirable aerosols necessary for triggering asthma by: a) investigating the conditions that lead to the release of pollen and fungal allergens of respirable size; b) monitoring their abundance in the outdoor air as a complement to whole pollen and spore counts; and c) quantifying the allergen load of these particles.
